This all-metal cage, available in 3 sizes, is specially designed to accept a dropping pan without the need for a Stack-A-Hutch Kit. Cages may still be stacked, if desired. Available with standard metal pans or our tough ABS plastic pans.  Cages come with doors installed with a standard door lock (part # DL) and door hanger (unless ordering the upgrade to swing out style door) and enough j-clips for assembly of cage. 

Cage does come unassembled.

Overall height is 18”, with actual cage inside height 16".

Note: J-Clip pliers are not included and should be ordered separately for ease of assembly.

    Drip pan needs to be further from cage floor

    I bought two cages with the heaviest wire offered. The cages are fine and good quality but the overall design is not good. The cages are shorter in height, so if you use the urine guards, it makes it impossible to get a nesting box or bigger items through the door (we sometimes put a small animal carrier inside to cage to move rabbits since not all are cooperative, and it did not fit a pet all with the guards and is still difficult without the guards). My husband had some heavy duty metal anchor/legs that we secured to the four corners, allowing us to elevate the cage enough to get the pan under without difficultly. The current Bass design allows the rabbit droppings to get right up to floor level and really needs to be reconfigured.

    Nice easy to build cage

    The only reason for the 4 star is I like a deeper pan and this pan the way the cage sets is hard to pull out with my arthritis as not any room to get my fingers in to grab it. The cage is easy to setup, I Love the frame around the door I dont get scratched LOL and I Love the option of the swing sideways door as is more sturdy and practical at least for me, I appreciate the speedy shipping too.
