Our solid box is constructed of 26 gauge galvanized steel with riveted seams and a 3/8" plywood floor for warmth. It has a semi-open top for proper ventilation. The box itself will last many years and can be torched or steamed for disinfection. The floor will endure many litters and may be replaced as necessary. Board is included with nest box, we do offer replacement boards as well.
If the price per item is less than $10 you have selected to receive just the replacement plywood floor bottom. You will not receive a nest box if you only order the replacement board.
Part number SNL sani nest liners will not work with the metal nest boxes.

Solid Steel Nest Box
I really like this nesting box so far! It is built very well and my bunnies will not be able to chew on it! I have Holland Lops so the medium size nesting boxes really give them that room for them, just like I been wanting, but the only downside about the medium size rabbit nesting boxes, is that they don't have a extra lip to the front of the box so that the kits would get knocked off from the mom when she hops out of the box from feeding them. I'll be giving an update about this box after a while too, just to see if I still like it! But thank you so much Bass Equipment Company! your customer service was great!

They are very solid construction, solid weight, definitely not flimsy. Amazing price, fast shipping. I've ordered several times, multiple items from this company and have always been very satisfied with the product.

Solid Steel Nest Box
Pros: Smooth edges, removable floor, easy to disinfect Cons: The shelf on top is not long enough and the dramatic taper on the sides makes it so kits get dragged out quite easily--it may be better in the summer but I am going to have to modify it before I will use it again. Really wish I could just order the dimensions I want because the construction is decent, but the design is problematic.

Great quality and construction! I'm very pleased with this box and would not hesitate buying another. Large for a mini satin is not too tight or too big for my rabbit.
