Bass Equipment manufactures it's own J-Clips. They are engineered in size and shape especially for cage construction. These clips are available only through Bass and it's distributors. Don't be misled by lighter weight "cheaper" clips...there IS a difference!

Very good clips, already used some. Shipping/package excellent.

J-Clips
Good quality, heavy duty. Buying locally I find lots that weren’t bent correctly that had to either be discarded or reshaped before use… that has not been the case buying from Bass. Do yourself a favor and buy the good pliers, though — the cheaper ones are hard on your hands.

Bass J-clips
So my husband bought me a huge amount of so-called J-clips from a well-known online source for everything. They were more like L-clips, and they just didn't work right. I ended up throwing away more twisted clips than I was able to attach properly. I got super frustrated and finally threw them away and bought some from Bass. The Bass ones are wonderful and work right every time! The star off is for rust issues. I now paint over them to keep them from rusting.

J-clips
I have been using these since I was a kid so we won't mention how many years that has been! They are just as good today as they were back in the 60's.
