All cages come with doors installed with a standard door lock (part # DL) and door hanger (unless ordering the upgrade to swing out style door) and enough j-clips for assembly of cage.

    Galvanized Rabbit Wire Cages

Posted by Kevin Sleeter on 12th Sep 2025

I originally purchased our first set of cages because materials were difficult to find and be affordable. I found these cages and they had all the materials that I wanted in them. Heavy duty, galvanized after welding, supported floors, door options etc. While these cages are more expensive than a farm supply or other stores, these are built to last. I can see these cages being around for a very long time. I prefer to do something once which means you get a quality product and yes, it will cost a bit more. But I never worry about them falling apart or something getting to my rabbits. I love them so much we purchased 9 more after our initial 6 we purchased last year. I won't have to be fixing and redoing cages or buy replacements any time soon. So if you want quality get these! They are worth every penny imo.

    Bass Rabbit Cages

Posted by Bobby Landires on 12th Aug 2025

We have purchased many different types of cages (those available on Amazon, and several different models by KW Cages), but I would say that the easiest to assemble that meets our needs has been the Bass galvanized wire cages. They are the best value for the money invested (we will be using several of the larger cages for our rabbits when they need a bit more space during the breeding process). My wife suggested that these same cages with the baby saver bottoms might be suitable for raising quail as well. I would recommend that you buy some of their cages and follow some common sense approaches to assembly. You will want to have a J-Clamp tool on hand, since that's the clamping mechanism they provide with each cage (and they provide a generous portion of J-Clamps). Shipping cost overall was very reasonable; however, give yourself plenty of time for them to assemble, pack and ship your order.
