Our cages are constructed with 1" x 2" 14 gauge wire tops and sides, and ½" x 1" 16 gauge floors. This is high quality, galvanized before welded, wire. All cages come with doors installed with a standard door lock (part # DL) and door hanger (unless ordering the upgrade to swing out style door) and enough j-clips for assembly of cage. 

Cage does come unassembled.

Note:J-Clip pliers are not included in cage price and should be ordered separately for ease of assembly.  Legs are sold separately.

    Absolutely the best quality cage on the market

    I've been raising rabbits off and on for nearly twenty years. I've had more cages than I can count, both bought and built. And the best ones I've ever owned where made by bass equipment. Others rust out within two years, these usually last me about eight years. It'd be more if I cleaned them up more often. But nevertheless I've learned my lesson I'll only ever buy my cages from bass.

    These were a great option to build my grow-out cages. The J-clips that were sent did not fit my j-clip tool (just a hair too long) but fortunately, I had plenty left over from building my first group of cages a few months ago. Did have to do some modification to the closures that came on the doors. Every single one of them lined up with some of the vertical wire so you really had to manhandle the closure. After making some bends and pulling it down just a bit they fit quite nice now. All the pieces lined up very well and made quick work in assembling everything. Will note that if you get the larger cage with a separator section that you may need to cut out a piece or two in the bottom of the cage in order to get your J-clip tool to fit. At least that was the case my cheap tool I have. Thus is the problem with 1/2" x 1" wire mesh, but I made it work. This kit definitely saved me tons of time so instead of laying everything out, measuring, cutting, and then assembling I could focus on other things that need doing around the homestead. If you don't have the time to do everything yourself these make a great kit that is easy to put together.

    I went with the upgraded heavy duty 14 gauge wire and it did not disappoint! I have some bass cages going on 25 years of heavy use. These will last a very long time!

    I liked these cages so much I ordered more. Size for my does are 24x36 and With the galvanized after weld floors. I am expanding my rabbitry and these are the best cages out of all makes I have bought in 6 years.
