Our bird cages are constructed with 1/2" x 1" 16 gauge wire. This is high quality, galvanized before welded, wire. Galvanized after welded wire is much higher in price and does not have the smooth finish that galvanized before has, making sanitation and cleaning much more difficult. All bird cages come standard with drop down doors and use our SPL-3 lock.

All Cages are complete with doors installed, door hanger (if applicable), floor spreader(36" and wider cage compartments only), and J-Clips required for assembly. J-Clip pliers are not included in cage price and should be ordered separately for ease of assembly.



The spot welded feeders offered by most companies had the disadvantage of being weak at the welded points which resulted in many of the feeders "coming apart at the seams" during shipping or normal cleaning and moving operations in use. Also, each spot weld destroys the galvanize due to the extreme heat and this leaves the metal open to rust and corrosion. The only solution to these problems is the Bass Riveted Feeder.
